Engraving

Engraving is the process of rendering music into sheet music.

Chordzy has its own engraver, built from the ground up, that allows us to completely customize everything about how the music looks. Of course, the fonts and symbols can be changed to other themes. But also, it allows Chordzy to customize the music (hiding advanced features, showing note names to new students, etc.)

MusicXML is the most common digital format for saving music.

Chordzy can understand all MusicXML files (as well as a few other formats). This means any sheet music can be uploaded to Chordzy, and the system can break it down into lessons for students to learn.
