Rhythm training

Rhythm training. Choose a tempo, then Start. Timing is practice-only until at least 8 taps land inside 40 ms of jitter.

Choose a tempo, then Start.

Tap

Listen to four bars, count one bar with the clicks, then tap the rhythm on the large pad or with the space bar. Tempos are 60, 80 and 100. A stage clears at ninety percent. Uncalibrated timing is practice-only and does not change your rhythm skill. Space does nothing while a text field or another button has focus.

Stages are quarter pulses, eighth notes with rests, ties, then two dotted-quarter pulses in 6/8. A tie holds the note, so you do not tap again. A rest is silence.

Example: four steady quarter notes. Count 1 2 3 4, then tap once on each count. An early tap is marked early. A missing tap is a miss. The same pattern on a piano, after calibration, updates the same rhythm skill.
