Contact Chordzy

This form goes straight to the people who build Chordzy. Use it for a bug, a question about your account, a song you want added, or an idea. Chordzy is still in beta, so the bugs are real and we want to hear about them.

The most useful message says what you did and what happened instead. Name the page or the song, and the keyboard if one was plugged in. If there was an error, paste its exact words, since a screenshot of an error is much harder to search. A message can run to 5,000 characters. The name, the email and the message are all required.

If you are signed in, the form fills in your name and email for you. It also attaches your account and the browser or app you are writing from. That saves a round of questions about what you were using. In the desktop app, the contact button opens this page in your web browser with those details already filled in. At the same moment the app uploads its log files from the last three days, and those often show what went wrong before you have typed a word.

When you press Send, Google's reCAPTCHA checks in the background that a person is writing. Your message is then saved as a numbered ticket, and the team gets it by email under that number. The reply goes to the email address you typed below, so a typo there means an answer nobody receives.

A lot of problems already have an answer in help. The most common one is a keyboard the browser cannot see, and MIDI keyboards walks through the fix. It also names the one browser that never will. If a jam will not connect, connecting to real-time jams explains each error message. New to Chordzy? Getting started covers what you need before the first lesson. Questions about paying are welcome here too, after a look at subscriptions.
